Austin Spires is the Sr. Director of Developer Support at Fastly, where he focuses on delighting the millions of developers who use Fastly every day. He's worked on developer tools and customer happiness for over 10 years and frequently speaks at conferences and meetups. Before Fastly, Austin worked in sales and support at GitHub, where he helped lead customer onboarding and ran technical sales at Finix Payments. Previously living in Texas, Oklahoma, and San Francisco, Austin now resides in Denver. He spends his free time gardening and keeping up with his toddler sons.
